LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Matriculate has multiple roles for students interested in leadership: Head Advising Fellows, Advising Fellow Leadership Team members, and National Advising Fellow Leadership Team members, as well as part-time school year and summer internships. As a Matriculate leader, you have the opportunity to shape Matriculate’s growth at a national level by creating a strong fellowship community; gaining leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills; and joining a dynamic network of student leaders across all of Matriculate’s fellowships.

“I am so grateful to be a part of Notre Dame’s leadership team! I love working with my team members and I can safely say that this has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life to watch a program that I love so much grow the way that it did on our campus. I look forward to seeing how Notre Dame’s fellowship evolves as time goes on.”

– Jordan at Notre Dame, AFLT

“I am able to better identify when I can work to solve something myself, or when I need to reach out for support and ask for help. I’m better equipped to try out different tools and techniques over time and realize what works for me and what doesn’t.”

– Dylan at Yale, NAFLT

“I have really leaned on being feedback-oriented and reflecting on how I can be the best HAF I can be. I take in feedback and from staff. I really think that what we look for in all of our leadership roles is a potential and a willingness to learn. If you haven’t had that much experience working with complex management, that is totally okay! A big part of the HAF role is learning and growing. Don’t feel like you need to portray this perfect self!’

– Kaiz at Williams, HAF
