Want free 1:1 college application help? Matriculate is a national nonprofit that provides free virtual college advising to students across the country. They will pair 3,000 eligible Class of 2027 high schoolers with a trained near-peer college mentor. Together, they work 1:1 through all steps of the college process, including college essays, college list building, FAFSA, scholarships, and more. Check out the eligibility here.
If accepted, students will be paired with a trained near-peer college advisor who will guide them through every step of the college application process. Matriculate’s application opens February 2, 2026.
