NEW YORK, SEPTEMBER 30, 2024 — SchooLinks, a leading college and career readiness platform, is thrilled to announce its new partnership with Matriculate, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering high-achieving students from low-income and underrepresented communities to realize their full potential in higher education by closing the college knowledge gap.

With this partnership, Matriculate will accept applications for their free near-peer mentorship program from eligible SchooLinks users. Upon program acceptance, students will receive one-on-one assistance from highly trained undergraduate advisors to identify best-fit colleges, navigate financial aid, prepare strong applications, and make informed decisions about their futures. This free advising program aims to help capacity-constrained districts and under-resourced families navigate the complex college process.

“Matriculate is thrilled about our partnership,” said Bryden Sweeney-Taylor, Matriculate’s Co-Founder and interim CEO. “Schoolinks is a trusted college and career platform adopted by districts across the nation, and we believe this partnership will extend Matriculate’s reach to connect with students who will benefit from our free, near-peer advising.”

“We are excited to partner with Matriculate to expand access to their high-quality college advising on our platform,” said Katie Fang, Founder/CEO of SchooLinks. “This partnership aligns with our mission to ensure every student has the resources and support they need to pursue their desired path. By introducing the Matriculate Program on SchooLinks, we hope the underserved students on our platform who want to attend college get the support and confidence to address the barriers navigating the college process.”
